President
|
Originally from Oswego County, New York, my wife Nancy and I relocated to North Carolina in 2004 for work. I've worked in industrial maintenance for 25 years, and served in the US Navy for 10 years before that. Since moving to North Carolina, I've traveled as a Field Service engineer doing repair and installation work all over the US, and a little bit internationally.
In late 2010, we acquired our 2001 Z3 3.0i Coupe, and the craZiness began. This weird looking car changed our lives by connecting us with this awesome club. In 2012, we started an East Coast event for Z3 and M Coupes called Schuh Syndikat. In 2013, I became the ZSCCA Area Rep for the Charlotte, North Carolina Metro area, bringing together many long term members and new members as the “Queen City Cra-Z’s”. I ran for the board of directors , and was elected as the Member-at-Large. Due to other officer resignations, I was appointed to serve first as Area Rep Manager, and then Vice President. We expanded the number of Area Reps and saw good growth in membership. In January 2016, I was elected President of ZSCCA.
Nancy and I are also BMWCCA members, and are active members in our local region of The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Nancy serves on that board of directors. I compete in Autocross competition, and we both enjoy working behind the scenes at Hillclimbs and Road Races around the southeast.
I am honored to now serve ZSCCA as President. I hope to use my background and leadership experience to improve how we do things and grow our membership. I’m excited about the future of ZSCCA, and I hope you are too. See you on the switchbacks!

Treasurer
|
The treasurer function is a joint effort of Chuck and Jane Krblich who live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Chuck and Jane bought their first Z3, a 2.5 ’01 topaz blue roadster in 2002 and joined the Z3CCA soon after. After meeting other “Sunshine Cruzers” the bug was caught and Homecoming was their favorite vacation. They have enjoyed the “little cars’ so much they have not only the 2.5 Z3 but also have an ’02 M Roadster and an ’08 M Coupe. They have attended all the homecomings since 2003 and have been to the ZFests in Cincinnati, Los Angles and Greenville “Coming Home”. They always look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at every Z car event as the saying in the Krblich house is “it’s all about the car”.

Social Media
|
Brian has the role of Social Media Director. Originally from Los Angeles, he moved to NYC and dreamed of having a sports car in a land requiring no car. In 2000, he went to Las Vegas for a wedding and rented a 1998 Montreal Blue Z3 for 3 days. Both he and his wife Dori fell in love with the car and started saving to buy one. It wasn't until Hurricane Sandy drowned their Neon that they decided to purchase another car. They found a 1999 Montreal Blue Z3 2.8 in Hickory, NC and they flew down to buy it. They joined ZSCCA a couple of months later. He has almost 20 years of experience working in media with Viacom, MTV Networks, MLB Advanced Media, and Scholastic. Brian runs several websites including discussion forums and blogs. He also manages several Facebook groups.

Special Projects Manager
|
Reenie began work with ZSCCA on the national level in 2016. She led the team that updated the club’s bylaws and has begun work on an Operations Manual. Her role as Special Projects Manager continues this work and also includes projects with no natural fit with others’ responsibilities. Reenie will also suggest ways to strengthen the club’s nonprofit management and volunteer involvement processes. Members who have ideas for special projects and want to help make them happen, please let Reenie know.
